As a native of the Pacific Northwest, I have always been inspired by the beautiful land and seascapes this region has to offer. As a representational oil painter I strive to create scenes that instill within the viewer a sense of longing and personal connection.
I am a member of the Eastside Association of Fine Arts. I show with Eastside Association of Fine Arts as well as Kaewyn Gallery, and the Art shows of the communities of Bothell, Kenmore and Duvall and Edmonds. I also paint commissions from your ideas, photos or my reference photos. I've painted commissions of people's gardens, children and beloved pets.
I received my initial training at Arts Umbrella under Lianna Bennet--portraits and Donna Bruckshen and Ted Pankowski--landscapes.
My workshops include: Scottsdale Art School with Dick Heichberger --landscapes, Fall City Fine Arts School with Michelle Rushworth--portraits and Joe MacKechnie/Dan Riley --figure painting.
